Our Practice Policies
The policies below support the level of care, preparation, and attention we provide at Muma Aesthetics. They are in place to respect both our clients’ time and our providers’ clinical expertise. Please review them carefully prior to scheduling an appointment.
Arrival & Tardiness Policy
To ensure a smooth experience, we kindly ask that clients arrive at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment to allow time for check-in and any required paperwork.
Arrivals more than 15 minutes past the scheduled start time, without advance notice, may be classified as a no-show and subject to a $200 no-show fee.
While we will always do our best to accommodate late arrivals when possible, appointments may need to be shortened or rescheduled in order to remain respectful of other clients’ scheduled care.
All clients must provide a valid I.D on day of appointment, otherwise you will not be serviced.
Cancellation Policy:
Your appointments are very important to us. They are reserved specifically for you. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary. Therefore, we respectfully request at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. For any appointment canceled or rescheduled less than 48 hours prior to scheduled time will incur a $100 Late Cancellation Fee. If we are unable to process the cancellation fee to the card on file then your $100 deposit with be forfeited.
If your cancellation occurs same day you will be charged a $200 fee.
If you No call/No show you will be charged a $200 fee.
This policy applies for all appointments, including consultations, and follow-ups.
All fees must be paid before you are able to book another appointment.
Please understand that when you forget, cancel, or change your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our wait list miss the opportunity to receive services. The 48 hour cancellation policy gives us time to inform our wait list clients of any availability, as well as keeping our staff schedules filled, thus better serving everyone.
Consultation Policy
Muma Aesthetics offers virtual consultations for new clients seeking guidance prior to treatment
Virtual consultations are 30 minutes and are designed to discuss goals, review options, and create a thoughtful treatment plan ahead of your visit
Helpful Note:
If you already have a specific treatment in mind, we recommend booking the service directly. Each treatment appointment includes a personalized consultation during the first 10–15 minutes to confirm goals and finalize your plan.
Payment & Booking Fee:
At the time of booking we require a $100 deposit for all service appointments.
Certain services (Facial Balancing, PDO Threads, all weekend appointments) may require a 50% deposit, in this case our admin team will contact you after booking to collect the remaining deposit. All clients have the option to pay for services in full at the time of booking. If clients choose to only pay the required deposit during booking the remaining balance will be paid the day of service.
Refund & Payment Policy
All appointments, services, packages, deposits, and retail purchases made with Muma Aesthetics are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Because aesthetic treatments are elective, time-based medical services that require provider preparation and reserved clinic time, refunds are not offered for any reason once payment has been made.
By booking and/or receiving services, clients acknowledge and accept this policy prior to treatment.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
By booking and receiving services at Muma Aesthetics, clients agree to comply with all published payment, cancellation, and refund policies
In the event of a payment dispute or chargeback, Muma Aesthetics will retain legal counsel and submit relevant documentation to support the validity of the charge. This includes booking confirmations, signed intake forms/acknowledgments, treatment records, photos, and prior correspondence.
Clients remain responsible for any outstanding balances associated with disputed charges, as well as legal, administrative or processing costs incurred during review.
Muma Aesthetics reserves the right to pursue appropriate next steps to resolve unresolved balances in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Any clients pursuing chargebacks or disputes, will no longer be able to book appointments at Muma Aesthetics as this threatens the financial viability of the practice.
Payment Policy
Accepted forms of payment include: Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Debit Cards, Zelle, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
We do offer financing through Cherry, PatientFi, and Care Credit. There is a 6% financing charge added to your total when using financing.
